Not that 6 oz makes a dent in the hundreds of buttons I have left!
I had a sweater that looked great when it was new, but a few launderings left the shoulders wonky so I was going to donate it when I sate down and stared at it for a while.  I saw that the seams around the shoulder/yoke were pretty solid so I carefully snipped the arms away, doing a little hand-stitching in a few places that needed to be reinforced.  I picked out some cool buttons and sewed them over the undersized pockets and voila!  So glad I didn't let go!

Thanks for looking!

Oh wow that's so awesome!  *Love* the buttons!!  Great touch!  I love how the neck-shoulder-arms area turned out!!  Very cool lines, there....

I'm here to learn, drool, covet, and be inspired.  Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to post my creations.  Maybe.

A-dorable. I think it actually looks better without the sleeves. Huzzah, huzzah! Cheesy

Thanks everyone!  I have to do another reinforcing job on the shoulders, the "solid" seam decided to make a run for it but it's an easy fix.

That's really cute. I think I like it better without the sleeves and the buttons are a really nice touch.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
