I made this for friends of mine who have moved across the seas and miss their family back home- especially  during the festive season! Its also supposed to be light weight to be able to travel wherever they find themselves next...
Onto photos:

Each of the fabric "frames" has a pouch behind to hold treats for advent. I'm thinking they can put family photos in the frames and think of each family member specially on that day. Or they could cut up Christmas cards for the spaces. The photos in the frames now are courtesy of a Cooperative magazine Smiley. Also- each of those frames is different fabric- it was a mad scrabble to find 25 different types, good grief!

and it rolls up!

Thanks to all the other advent calendars for inspiration!

That is an amazing project!  I love the idea of the advent photo frame, but making it lightweight and travel friendly....it's inspired!  Your friend will adore it...I do!

I love this design.  I may have to borrow it, but only long enough to get someone to make it for me. Cheesy

Nice work.
