I am a big, big fan of Japanses street fashions. You can never find the same outfit. I resently found a designer by the name of Takuya Angel and he is totally amazing! He bases his work off of traditional Japanese designs and then blends music, anime, and his own style of street fashions. You can see some of his designs by going to http://www.japanesestreets.com/ click on 'Street Fashions' and select 'Takuya Angel' (fashion show) or '6 2003' (photos 4-17 are his creations). Is anyone else interested in Japanese street fashions or have heard of Takuya Angel's work?

I saw some of the designs. Pretty cool. I hope to use Takuya Angel's designs to make some of my own creations and I have a few now. Just need some money and time and I'll be all set  Grin.

I would do almost ANYTHING to do this, even just hang out and take picture. These people have so many creative ideas and patterns, that is just blows me away what they where on the streets!

Oh my gosh!  I love Japanese street fashion too.  Have you heard of the book "Fruits" by Shoichi Aoki?  Fruits is a magazine published in Japan with pictures of people on the street and the book is a collection of pictures from the magazine.  I think he's currently coming out with another book as well so there should be two books out soon.  A lot of people in the book sport clothes that they have either made or bought from stores in Japan and some of them are wearing things from Takuya Angel.   Cheesy

I love the Fruits book!! My friend owns it, so I'll check it out when I go over her house again. I have some designs in the making based off of some of the fashions I saw in the book and online. I hope to get them going soon.  Grin
