New to crochet...here's my collection so far!

I only started to crochet just under 3 weeks ago...and am kind of annoyed I never started earlier! I love it! Could never get to grips with knitting, but desperately needed something to keep my brain active while my body is being rubbish. ( I have fibromyalgia and was crawling up the walls being unable to get out anywhere!)

So here are my first things I've made. Any criticisms or hints on how to improve my crochet would be very welcome.

Then my sister produced a pattern from nowhere for this!





This is my brother's christmas present...i just have the details to finish off.

My OH said we can decorate the our first christmas tree in a Nightmare Before Christmas style...so i've started making the decorations. Here are the skulls:



And here are the first characters i've made to go on the tree:

I can't get Oogie Boogie's mouth right, so still working on that.



The mayor is double sided, so hopefully he will spin on the tree.

And this is to sit under tree...



Thanks to everyone who posts their patterns, and their creations on this board...it's got my mind going in overdrive as to what is being made next!! Although, my 20 year old sister has placed 'an order' for ladybird mittens next...so i'll busy for a while!

Those are great! I Think my favorite is the ghost dog, though the Dalak (Sp?) is pretty awesome too!

wow, those seem like pretty complicated pieces to start with! don't most people start out making granny squares or scarves? I'm impressed!
