yup.  I almost passed out.  I don't do blood.  I called my mom because I was so freaked out...but she was at the dentist!!!  luckily her boss is actually a very good friend of hers and offered to come over and help me out.  I almost passed out again after she got here.    I can watch myself get tattooed (and I'm a bleeder), but if I get a cut that bleeds, forget it!

it started bleeding again (I must have straightened my finger at some point without realizing it), but I'm willing to give the project another try tomorrow with TONS of band-aids wrapped around my finger.  I'll also try not to put too much Neosporin on it so it doesn't get on anything.

oh, and technically I didn't spoil the surprise by saying how I cut finger because I didn't say what the fabric is for!  ha ha!!

So I've spent all day in the hospital with my mom Feel gunky and miserable for her and am officially behind on my crafting. I'll play catch-up tomorrow and this weekend.

I adote this swap and my partner but I'm glad I'm taking a break as I've had so much drama creep up during my last two swaps. I REALLy feel nervous about my ludo...I think his coloring is slightly off...I hope she likes him anyway

Rehearsals ate my creative energy.  I'm really hoping to get done at least one of my crafts tonight (the one I had to fix after I thought it was finished because I spelled something wrong, ugh!) if not both of them. *crosses fingers*

looks like I have to make an hour road trip  I bought materials when I was out of town and down to the last little bit I ran out, unfortunately its a new color that isn't sold anywhere in Columbus so I have to drive to Springfield.. but at least I will be able to send out by the 6th and not have to order it online & wait!

I hate hunting down one specific item. But I love going to Indy's JoAnn Fabrics. They have more to choose from and Indy in and of it's self has more arts and crafts stores.
