I adore the Dark Crystal! it was a favorite of mine growing up. I was always a weird kid though...

the first time I saw it, I swore I'd never watch it again (now I love it Cheesy)  the scene that got me was when the Skeksis king died.  I was done.  I never watched the whole movie until I bought it on DVD about 10 years ago.  Labyrinth is still my favorite.

HEY!  did anyone hear the rumor of the sequel, Power of the Dark Crystalhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Crystal#Possible_sequel and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460907/

I have a three year old cousin who mimics the Skesies (sp?) and goes "MMMMMHMMMMMHmmmmmmm!" Like that weird sound they make, it is so cute!

Haha... my husband and I do that all the time. You don't dare say "hmm" in our house without getting that as a response. It's probably not as cute when people in their late 20's do it, though!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I like Dark Crystal (obviously), but it will never compare with Labyrinth, EVER!  Grin
