I made this for my 3-year old nephew for Christmas.  He loves Cars so I decided to make a quilt for him.  It's my first quilt  Cheesy  It's about 44"x60".  The top is cotton and the backing is flannel.  I used low loft batting and quilted horizontally at two inch intervals.  It was a little stressful but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I look forward to making another quilt in the future.

I think a 3 year old that loves the movie cars would love this quilt!

To help with posting, go ahead and click through to your (at least one) picture and there is a button on the bottom that says "copy to clipboard" and then you just paste it into your post somewhere.  I am also somewhat new to message boards, but I have also seen that posts with pictures get way many more views than posts without.  And you can edit your original post by clicking modify.  I hope this is helpful

Aww- that's too cute!  I love it when people back with flannel, it's so soft and toasty warm!

My best friend's son would get such a large charge out of that one- I bet your nephew loved it too!

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

That's really cute.  I also love quilts backed in flannel.  They're so cosy, and flannel always seems warm when you put it on.  The cars fabrics are really cute too.

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.
