Your Scark looks very similar to HezaChan Scarf off of etsy.  Very cute though.

Very cute! I might try to make one myself...though I don't have a sewing machine...Sad
Oh, and I have a question about the pattern, what does selvage mean? Is it a sewing term? Or another language?
Thanks! Cheesy

P.S: Do any of you clever Craftsters have a pattern for an ear-flap hat that you wouldn't mind sharing?  I'd love to make one to wear this winter!

theres a tutorial at threadbanger:

(though you have to sit thru an annoying ad to watch it)

i love your cat hat/scarf combo- soooo cute.

Oh wow!! That reminds me of the kitty stuffie I once made!! It wasn't NEARLY as long as the scarf though!! It was in grey thick...fleecy stuff, and it was just long enough to go over my shoulder!! Put poly beads in all four of the paws and lightly stuffed the rest of the body, and had little felt pieces for 3 paw pads and a palm pad on each foot!! But I like your scarf a lot better!!

Ah, I love Heza's plushies!  Mine isn't nearly as awesome and detailed as hers.  Longcat and tacgnoL are sort of unofficial mascots for a popular image board, so a lot of people have made scarves and plushies that look like them.

Thank you!  That is exactly what I was looking for.

You can do it!  Though it might take a long time to hand stitch such a long cat  Cheesy

Selvage is a fabric/sewing term, and it is the edge of the fabric that looks like it's finished.

Ohhh.. I am dying to make this for myself!  I love the hat most especially!  I agree that using a fuzzy material would give it a different dimension!  ... Oh my gosh.. and I think I have some cat-eye buttons somewhere..  Thanks for sharing this project!

This is sooo cute. I have a Dachshund, so I am thinking a long dog scarf would be awesome.
