OK, I've been sewing a lot this last year but I'm terrible behindhand with posting stuff I made (if I remembered to photo it in the first place)...
Some of you might remember I made a labour quilt for my firstborn (here is the thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=239581.msg2634633#msg2634633) - while I was giving birth - literally. Well I have to keep to the tradition, don't I?
I also made a sleeper for my firstborn (you can find it here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=299478.msg3416323#msg3416323) for her first outfit when we came from hospital. Well we decided that'll be a tradition so I had to make one for my second girl as well.
But - there is always a but isn't it Grin - my second child decided to rush things and come out 2 weeks earlier. So when the labour began I rushed to make her a sleeper Grin since I hadn't make no sleeper and no quilt yet Cheesy. I finished the sleeper, embroidered it, we took our first born to grandma's and we rushed to the hospital. We arrived just in time - 15 minutes later I was already holding my baby in my hands Grin.
Here are the pics of the sleeper and the baby of course (she'll soon be 1 year old - I'm so behind!)

And a detail to show you what scale we're dealing with (this time it fit her just fine right from the hospital - it wasn't too big as the first time around Grin)

How do you like it? (both sleepers have their names on, of course and they will be worn just by them, than taken away in the souvenir box - I haven't put firstone's on the second one).

Wow!  She is just gorgeous!  I was all caught up in baby lusting over her and then I realized that she's older now than my little guy!  lol  There is just nothing like those first few weeks getting to know baby.  Sigh....

And, omg, her outfit is to die for, the sleeper and the little booties.  Beautiful work all the way around, mama!  Smiley
