Steampunk Circus Swap (SU 12/4/09-12/22/09 SO 2/15/10)

I thought it looked pretty... but then I'm not an expert, like some.

I on the other hand loved it, but I am a big fan of Guy Ritchie and really enjoyed seeing his contemporary twist on the story. I loved Robert Downey Jnrs take on Holmes as a tortured genius and the sexual tension between the leads was brilliant!

To put on my film nerd hat for a second: I also thought the editing was brilliant and the lighting superb.

But now: back on topic! I'm about halfway done but I may have to redo or revisit some things I rushed because I confused the send out date. But don't worry Wulf, everything will be perfect by the time I send it.

I'm working on my swaps for you Aisy!  I'm about 75% done my 3 mediums (they're a set), and just started my large. I've got dye all over my hands! haha. Its a faint color, so it looks ... well, it just looks like I have a weird circulation problem   Ahh, how we suffer for our art.

Part way through a Medium, waiting for missing supplies for the Large, and finally got the missing idea for the Small. It came to me in the middle of the night and I managed to still remember it in the morning! I've also spent some time working on a thing which I probably won't send in this swap after all, as it would make it altogether too Steampunky and not Circusy enough. I'll put it away for another Steampunk swap. And then there's this other thing I've been working away on without yet knowing what it's going to be, exactly. But it fits the theme perfectly so it has to become something.

So more or less on track, I think.

lol i used to get that from my painting supplies all the time! i cant wait to see what you made me montyfull! these lil hints are sparking my curiosity lol!
