It's awesome! I have a bunch of stuff sitting around that I want to do something similar to, but I am afraid I am going to mess it up, but you did a great job!

I am the same way. I got a duffel bag full of shirts that no longer fit or are too big and since I'm a complete novice I'm scared of messing them up.

And I do love the shirt. Way cool.

yeah i felt the same way before i started doing recons. so i just started with a couple of shirts that i wouldn't mind if i completely screwed them up. you should go for it! you may be surprised with how it turns out.
