After coming across this wonderful tutorial, I decided that a giant version would be perfect for an upcoming birthday party:

http://kwoozy.blogspot.com/2006/06/tutorial-for-rabbit-and-carrot.html

I used a spool of thread to show perspective. The bunny itself is made of a baby blanket, some thread, a bunch of stuffing and maybe an hour of my time. Oh, and buttons for eyes. I machine sewed him, but hand sewed on the button eyes. His name is Mr.BunBun. (Because when you're this big, they call you Mister).

On to the pictures!

Thank you for looking! Any questions/comments/rants about llamas are encouraged.

Trying to sew the fabric of the universe with invisible thread is tricky.

He's awesome! Definitely unique!

I'm wondering if he's any relation to BunBun from Sluggy Freelance comics Smiley

Thank you!

As far as who he's related to, well, you know what they say about bunnies...
(They like carrots. Yep. That's totally what they say about bunnies.)
