This is my first post on the jewelry category! I saw some really awesome beaded pieces online made by using a stitch called the right angle weave (raw) and thought...hey, I can do that! So I got some beads and a pattern and went to town. I made this in a about 2 hours this morning. Its going to be a Christmas present for my sister. The RAW was easy to do and the result is stunning, I think people will be very impressed by the results especially for such a quick project!

The pattern is from www.aroundthebeadingtable.com (which I stumbled on by accident and was so happy I did), its called the Ribbon Bracelet. The patterns were super cheap and easy to follow. Plus, you can get so many different results by using different beads. The original pattern was made with swarovski crystal in 3 and 4 mm with size 11 seed beads, but I did mine with 6mm ceramic beads and size 10 seed beads for a totally different look that suits my sister.

I would reccommend ANYONE interested in beading check out this website and try the RAW.

Okay, on with the pics! (I swear I am not a paid employee of this website even though it sounds like I'm selling something!!!, I'm just SO excited with this and can't wait to make another one!)

Very pretty. I'll have to check out that site. I like right angle, too. I have a special issue of Beadwork that's all right angle patterns and I love it!
