my local walmart had everything but the glossy accents... we don't have a craft store here in my town *boo* so i'll have to order some from the net or wait til i head to the 'big city' lol

I couldn't find Glossy Accents, but I found Dimensional Magic that is made by Mod Podge.  I made one washer and it is drying right now... I will let you know how it turns out.  The stuff I found was at Walmart for about $5 CDN

Thanks so much for this tute! I'm making around a dozen of these for a group of friends this Christmas. So far I'm halfway done, but I used different colored embroidery threads and braided them for the cord, that's what's taking forever. >.< I'll probably post them on craftster when I'm done and I'll put a link to you there. Thanks again.
