No package yet from annachronism but I know it's in the US because the royal mail and usps sites both say it was handed over. Of course, with all the holidays and closures, things take longer than normal but I'm sure it'll probably make it next week or so to me.

Ok, here's the pics! I hope they look ok, its tough getting shots of a hanging item. annachronism made me the most adorable little Ariel doll/ornament. She's in a lovely pink dress, with amazing little details like puffs on the shoulders of her sleeves and with the most perfect color red hair.





The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie; I've loved it since it came out when I was like 12. The doll is very sweet and lovely and just so very nicely done. You can easily see the care and attention to detail in it's creation. Thank you, annachronism! I really love her.

Thanks for posting pictures, she is tricky to photograph, isn't she! I'm so glad you're pleased with her, I had a lot of  fun making her (although I had to attempt her arms about 8 times before I got a pair that almost matched!) I'm sorry she arrived too late for you to be able to hang her on your Christmas tree, maybe she'll have a place there next year!

If anyone's interested in making their own Princess ami, I used a pattern by Kawaiigurumi which I found on Etsy- I know that the seller also makes Ariel in her mermaid form (because she emailed me that pattern by accident when I'd ordered the one with the pink dress!) and there's a really detailed Mulan one as well. My doll didn't end up looking much like the one in the picture- she's longer and thinner, because it turned out the wool I'd bought was a little stretchy but the pattern was super-easy to follow, so long as you're ok with crocheting tiny tiny body parts! I thought I'd better explain that she wasn't my own design- I'm nowhere near good enough to crochet without a pattern yet, but I'm getting there

*laughs* I didn't even see him in the pic until you pointed it out. He's a little Santa Penguin I made a couple years ago from polymer clay:



I have all sorts of stuff all over my desk and I used the 2nd level of my desk to hang Ariel up since the desk is right next to a window, I was trying to get good light to photograph her.
