Inspired by this thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=326777.msg3807473;topicseen#msg3807473

I suggest that there be either a button to the right (one of those blue guys over there ---> ) or a recurring feature or article (maybe on the blog or front page) that calls attention to cool projects that have been overlooked. The criteria could be having few or no comments, or fewer than a certain number of views.

Craftster is all about sharing your ideas and projects with others who love crafting and know how much time and effort go into things, so it can be frustrating when you don't get any sort of feedback. This feature might encourage those who have been overlooked before to keep posting new projects.

Voicing support as well as a suggesting.

In terms of generating it, it would need to be separated from the "new with pics" section, which also have little to no posts. The generator would need to scan the oldest posts that have little to no comments or views.

I have been looking on a few boards, and they all have uncommented posts going back to what was probably the beginning of craftster. I agree that there should be a way to skip over topics that have just been started, but do we want to pull up topics from 2006? The OP may not even be an active member any more. Granted, the project may still be killer, but if we are doing this to show support for fellow craftsters, I'd say we'd want more recent work. Maybe we could screen for topics that are 2 weeks or older, or a month or older. I don't think it takes long for a new project without comments to sink to the 3rd or 4th page of some boards. Recent with Pictures are usually totally new at least every other day.

Thanks for the support!

I think that's a nice idea. Smiley  I think we had tossed around the idea of possibly featuring little or no comment projects on the blog but I don't know when/if that will come to fruition.  We've also tossed around other ideas in the same vein.  There is currently a way to see all the old posts with little or no replies or views.  If you go to a board and click on the word "Replies" or "Views", depending on what you want, the board will resort so that those threads with the fewest replies or views will be at the top.  They also go in date order after that so therefore the oldest will be listed before the newest. Smiley
