Ohhhh purty!
I think this is one of my favorites to date! I need to start on another one sometime soon to go with my bastardized version of Tempting - I think the rib/cables will complement the rib of the Tempting nicely. And I have *just* enough left of the yarn I used!

I ended up making one of these for the FOC swap... sorry for the cross-posting, but I had hammered this board with questions about the handles a few pages back, so I wanted to post my finished product:



And here's the interior. This was my first experiment w/ hand-sewing a lining. I also put two magnets inside the lining to sort of keep things together. For bag-making, I usually use ultra-strong magnet closures, but they were too aggressive for a knit bag, so I just put two magnets inside and that worked rather nicely.



I used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Super Chunky -- it feels fantastic!

As for what I ended up doing for the dowels, I got some 5/8" ones and cut them down. Then I used a hand-sander to round the corners. It worked out pretty well, I think.
