Ok so maybe I'm retarded but how do you get the wooden handles on both sides? Was I not supposed to cast on the regular way? And if I wasn't supposed to is there a way to fix it w/o ripping it all out?

Just sew the yarn around the second handle through the cast on edge.

My first bag I tried casting on with selvage yarn, but it was a big pain.

Ohhh ok. And then for the other side I bind off and just sew it on the same way?

That makes things much easier... Thank you Smiley

Those are soooo adorable.....

I've been putting off trying cables (i admit it, i was scared!  Shocked), but these cute little clutches are just the inspiration i needed!

I started making one...almost done....now i just need to find some handles!  (btw, using some 100% merino wool i got at smiley's sale in manhattan....let me just say about 1.5 balls of $1.50 yarn sure beats $130 bucks Grin!)

***I finally finished!***

I love this design....so cute!  Here's what it looks like:

AND i accidentally made it reversible!

Hey what yarn did you use it's sooo pretty!

PS: I was just looking at the site where you got the inspiration and I can't believe that they sell PLAIN stockinette ones for over $100!!! Crazy...
