Ever since our cats were kittens, one of them, Pogo, has been obsessed with shredding toilet paper. You can imagine what a frustration this is. So tonight I had this brilliant idea to make a cat-proof toilet paper cover. I can't tell you how relieved I am!

Here's Pogo caught in the act when he was still a kitten

And still doing it now that he's two years old....sigh.

And now, never again! It's a double-sided strip of canvas fabric and fleece interfacing about 4 1/4" wide and long enough to wrap around a full roll.

I made it completely adjustable to protect the roll down to the last square, so the elastic and three button positions will wrap around even a mostly empty roll. I did this on a whim, so I didn't match the elastic very well......

Here it is all laid out flat

Think of the trees I'll be saving from Pogo! Thanks for checking it out!  Cheesy

I don't know about Pogo, but my gato hates closed doors. Lol.
Very brilliant. I'm kind of mad I don't have a reason to make that!
