The spider has no silk of its own, so it must weave its webs in and out of the hair of dying humans.  It lays eggs that bear a resemblance to pearls, and the greedy relatives of the dying attempt to snatch them.  However, when they do so, the spiderlings hatch, and insert venom into the would-be-thiefs veins.  This venom at first makes victims believe themselves to be imaginary.  This wears off after a couple hours.  The venom then copies and transfers all of the memories of the ailing into the minds of the would be thieves, and thus the memories are preserved.

The spider is made out of polymer clay, and the web is polymer clay covered in hair. I plan to make it into a hair ornament, if I can find a way to prevent it from falling off my head! Thanks for looking!

Oh my God. That is definitely terrifying! I would probably want to wear that in my hair (or around my neck) too.

I have no hair to speak of, but this is very ornamental, would make a great pendant or brooch. The detail of this is excellent and so breath taking.

That's pretty awesome.  I really like the whole human hair thing.

I plan to make it into a hair ornament, if I can find a way to prevent it from falling off my head!

You should just glue a barrette to the back of the spider, and bobby pins to the web.
