Wow, that's so very adorable and impressive, but can I ask...how did you NOT go insane putting it all together? (I know my least favorite part of blanket construction is stitching all the blocks together...) You have my awe-struck admiration for this... ;-)

I love that blanket! Great job! Its enough to make me want to start crocheting and learn to make one! I agree with a previous poster.....sewing that must have been a huge pain though >.<. The knitted blanket I'm currently making has fewer and larger blocks to sew, so I look at yours and just think WOW!

Ive wanted to try this blanket I just don't want to pay 6 bucks for them to tell me how many granny squares I need and how to arrange them. I think thats blasphemous

love it! i have also been bitten by the bug - i made two within six months of buying that issue. Cheesy like yours, both of mine were done in worsted weight with a larger hook, though i used the opportunity to bust my stash of worsted weight wools.
