I guess it's only fitting that the afghan that I started in June when I had a week off of work has now been completed during my post-Thanksgiving break.

For those not yet bitten by the Babette Blanket bug, it's from the Spring 2006 issue of Interweave Crochet, page 22.

I used at J hook rather than an E so that it would make a larger sofa throw and used random Vanna's Choice yarns for the entire thing.

Since it was in the 80s in Los Angeles yesterday, I managed to beat the winter chill in completing it too.

My husband says it's one of his favorite things I've ever made.
