Wow, Muria! You have been a busy chica! I absolutely love that dress and how you were able to change it to suit your needs ^_^ It looks wonderful on you and the fabric is so pretty and light!
And you did that Moth shirt extremely well! I sat and admired your paint job on the caterpillar for quite a while, there's so much detail in it! Great work!

Thanks!  I really have been doing things. My son was just hogging the camera computer until he moved out last week for college.  Smiley  I still need pictures of my daughter's dress, and swim cover-up, my son's shorts, and three things from the color swap I organized in April.  Shocked   Fortunately, I made a list of all the boards along with the ones I've finished, and the projects for the ones I haven't posted, so I don't forget.  Smiley

But I got half of my finished projects posted!  Smiley

I really enjoyed painting the t-shirt. I like to paint, even if my drawing skills are minimal and I can't shade particularly well.  I guess it's because I watched too much Bob Ross as a kid. A mistake is a "happy accident,"  not a major disaster.  Cheesy

Great pictures, Edel!  I'm either going to work on the stenciling board, or I'll be making a dress to wear to the funeral I'm going to on Wednesday. My childhood friend's mother died last week. I haven't really seen her in about 15 years, but since I spent a lot of my time in the summer at their house, I'm going to pay my respects. Unfortunately, my wardrobe doesn't have much of anything that's black, and the black I do have tends to be velour (which is too hot for this weather).  I'm just not sure I'll wear a black sundress later if I make one now. Undecided

Muria, I dont know what the unwritten rules for funerals are in your part of the world, but here only immediate family tend to wear black and even then dark sober colours are also acceptible,

You could consider dyeing a dress that you already have dark colour, depending on your colouring, navy, or a dark plum might be nice. (and that would do for the dyeing board!)

Edel, that's good idea with the photos. I think I'll try to get a More Art, Less Craft post up today or tomorrow with my very favourite travel photos from the last 2 years! (And checking out my photos, I realize I've travelled a crazy amount in the last 2 years....) Oh wait.. I still might do that, but I realize I've already done More Art, Less Craft! Oops.

I also really like your "1 more project this week" push.

One more edit because I'm thinking goals. I'm going to post a new goal list, keep myself accountable, and ACTUALLY get something done (other goals? Not moving too much). Be ambitious but not TOO ambitious.
General goal: 1 new checkmark off the list per week.

Planned checkmarks this week:
- MACHINE EMBROIDERY by completing the second recipe label
- also possibly TRINKETS & JEWELRY-RECONSTRUCTED with either resin, a scrabble tile pendant, a microscope slide pendant, or even something totally different
Planned partials this week:
- set up recipe binder project (Crafty Housewares: Reconstructed)
- get fabric and make plans for curtains, the final piece to complete my new room (Interior Design)
- start planning the jewellery board for my room (Crafty Housewares)
- a row a day on my knitted bag so I'll be able to finish it by the end of the year [I've been "working" on it for 2.5 years. Ha.] (Knitting)
