For me it's my mismatched, recycled containers that will be the focus of the crafty part! I've collected 2 kitty litter jugs & 2 big coffee "cans" (they're not actually metal) so far, and plan to pretty them up.

 I think that if the plants are part of an over-all themed project, like if you MADE special staged growing sites, like a set of containers for the progression of growth, then it would be
a good gardening project. Especially if it was using reclaimed materials, or had a decorative appeal. For example, get some wooden wine crates, and fill it with standing tp tubes, paint the crates with images or lettering, and have the next area set up with larger boxes, and divide the sections with vertical blind slats, only set at 6" apart. Then, build some raised planter beds for the larger plants . A very cleaver use of vertical space, as in shelves, or hanging these boxes at eye level ; by running a rope thru each corner, and tied together like a macrame pot hanger, etc; would be a good way to expand on the seed sprouting project.
  Run a drip system along the eves, and hang the boxes.
This gets them out of the dog's reach, and will be interesting if anyone actually does this!

I just started my interior decorating project about two hours ago.  It is coming along wonderfully so far, but I haven't really been at it long enough to mess it up yet, lol.  Thankfully the hubby is sick (I know that sounds bad!) so he can't come in there and tell me how I'm doing it all wrong, makes it much less stressful to deal with!!  


The color is kind of deeper in real life.  It is very, very pink.  I don't really know that I am in love with it yet, but my hubby gave DD full color freedom and this is what she really wanted, so I'm good with that.  We are doing a Garden Full of Flowers theme.  It's pretty perfect with this color.

I told you what I think of it on your post, but I will tell you here - it's not that good.  BECAUSE - it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (I was going to do an April Fool's Day trick and say I hate it, but I just couldn't bring myself to tell that big of a lie.  )  I want to reach through the screen and rub it, it looks so soft and adorable and I love the fur right around her face, it is adorable!  I need to go back and hit "this rock" cause I forgot to do it while I was there, darn it.  It is amazing, and I think that when your kids have grown out of it, you should frame it and hang it on the wall or something, that is an amazing piece of art that you get to look at your kids wearing - I am so impressed!

hehe, good April joke! They fooled me on the pb challenge, here, hehe and than you Thank you very much! It really was a big project and full of firsts... So I'm so happy that people like it .

I wanted to make the pasta challenge but my kids are both very sick so we're not gonna do that. Some other time, family first .

I've been pretty busy yesterday with posting and I finally made the pc buttons for the bag for my neighbour's bd. Right now they're baking so the bag shall be finished today. Hehe, I hear you! Sometimes the creative process is great but sometimes there are fases that just seem to last forever and are quite boring . I wish you finish it early .
