muria, I dont think you need a class for dyeing as it is pretty easy, ditto cold process soap making, the only thing that I would be careful of is that soap making is not compatible with a 4 year old as the lye is nasty stuff, The class would be good for glass though

One down.

OK, I copied and pasted the list into my profile and put the bold code around the one. Better than making this thread too long.

Here's a link about shibori (of course I spelled it wrong the first time) dyeing:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shibori
It's a bit more involved than dip dyeing. I've done dip dyeing before. I also kind of prefer doing dyeing in a class because then I don't make a mess of my kitchen.  Smiley

I have two done, but I haven't done the post yet (DS is occupying the computer with the camera cord). I'll link them back here when I actually get the posts up.

Wulf... You are so funny! No pets? How about making some little bunny cottages, or birdhouses for the wild ones?
And, Knitting and crochet isn't that hard, for the beginning steps. I bet you could teach yourself out of a book.
Curvaceous Crafters? A Mr.& Mrs. Claus for the yard next year complete with clothes??
I'm just trying to be funny!
Since seeing a guy on here is a bit of a novelty, I checked out your profile.
Congratulations on the 40 acres of woodland...
And You're a set builder? I'm impressed! I bet you can do anything... you probably just haven't gotten around to those yet.

And, LC, good to see you posting! I love your bag, and I hope life is being kinder lately!

Not a set builder, KL, a prop builder. People do mix us up, but there's a world of difference. One way to remember what part of a theatre production is which is to imagine selling your house and moving: the things you pack into the truck are the props and costumes, and the empty rooms you leave behind are the set.

And thanks for the suggestion of birdhouses! I do need to make a few more, and "Crafts for Pets" is just about the only place they would fit! "Curvaceous Crafter" and "Kids" will be good gift opportunities.
