I am a bit of a craft magpie. I cannot stay faithful to any craft. Looking at the list of boards, I have posted on most of them, but there are a few that so far I havent. So I was thinking, for a new years challenge I might try and post a finished project on every completed projects board on craftster. In case you were wondering these are the boards that have completed projects sections.

There are a few other boards like the holiday boards that dont have a specific 'completed projects' category, so I have skipped those as I think this covers a lot!!

Its so cool that I am not the only craft magpie here,

If anyone has a cool pic to put at the head of this thread so that it shows up in the list, please pm me.

Interesting challenge, I do a lot of different crafts too, but there are just as many that I'm not very good at or haven't learned. A great way for me to expand my horizons further.

I have a few that are big challenges for me, mostly because of access to equipment or materials, pottery, weaving and machine embroidery spring to mind. But I guess I could do air-drying clay, freeform machine embroidery..but am stumped with weaving! But I will find something..

the one that will be a real challenge is knitting...I do not like knitting.

actually now that I think of it I think I have made crafts for most of the boards on here, at some point in my life. So my challenge will be to make something new for each one. not something 'historical'

weaving is easy enough to do on a small scale I think, you can make up a small board with nails in the ends even.  Looking at the main boards I think the only things I've never done are crocheting(totally eludes me for some reason), glass crafts and quilting.  I plan on spinning before this year is over.  I think I'll make a list Wink

This sounds fun! I don't know what I could do for some of them (Glass Crafts, Fibers), but it'd be fun to try.

Number 2 for today, on the bath and beauty board, a simple one this time, but it has taken me a couple of days to get right, its an essential oil blend.

5   phew the knitting board is done. This craftalong is interesting, I have noticed that I am trying to get the difficult ones out of the way first, but the odd easy fast one is sneaking in. But I am very happy that I actually knit something.

6 polymer clay, I am not entirely happy with these, I dont think my technique was good. but I have learned a new technique, so hopefully the next ones will be better.

I love this idea! I may not succeed, but I will certainly try.
