Ribbon Bracelets, Uno bracelets and more other bracelets(plus a ring)

Well the first(of a couple bracelets) I made was constructed out of mini uno cards. I really like it but its too small to fit my wrist.  This was my first real at temped at making jewelry so their not perfect of course.

Uno Card Bracelet (its kind of messy since i used hot glue but I'm going to try to fix that today)



Ribbon Bracelets

1. This one has three  different ribbons (brown, pink brown stripped, and pink brown polka dot)




2. Made out of Fabric acually so its'kind of fraying

very interesting, i never would have thought to use uno cards. i know there is a way to stop the material from fraying but just now i can't remember.

I like them all, but the peace sign and the pink snowflake/winter one I like the best.  The one made with Uno cards is very fun and creative.  I could see it being paired with just jeans and a black shirt. 

I like the ring and the bracelet that match.  I can't remember the name of the anti-fray stuff...Stop Fray or Fray End or something like that, but it works well.

what are you wrapping the ribbon around to get it to hold the shape? Really cool i want to see how this develops

grimmlynn: thanks, I thought that fray stuff was called something  like that.

Kitten: I wrapped them around a thing that holds tape or old ribbon spools. Do you know what im talking about? I'll post a picture if need be.

It's Fray Check   I have 2 bottles of it.  I have a serger, so to add an extra detail I would serge the fabric and then wrap it.  Maybe serge it in a contrasting color...hmm...I have a plain bangle that may need some embellishing now!
