I made a Dangly Squid!  This is my first post, just in case it's messed up.  Grin

The squid was inspired by this post by applesweet:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=328293.0

This is my first time using polymer clay and jewelry... stuff.  I used glow-in-the-dark polymer clay, baked it in pieces, and attached the pieces with thin wire and those squisher thingies to hold the wire.

Meet Squiddy Jr.!

Close up--you can see the wire/squisher things.

Here you can see the beads I decorated him with!

Starfish bead

Ship wheel and seahorse beads

His tiny squid suckers!

From outside my car!

Maybe him glowing in the dark will help me find my car at night  Wink  Thanks applesweet for posting the great idea!  Your squid looks much more squiddy.

Let me know if there's anything wrong with this post--first time!

Just when I thought squids didn't qualify as 'cute', you go and prove me wrong. This is frickin' adorable!

You did an awesome job! And I'm so honored to have inspired your craft project. I love the little nautical charms you added, too.
