Since August, when I got all of the stuff,  I have sewed 18 bags inspired by TLC Kanvas and the Green Pepper patterns,

Here is a set for each boy, though some are missing:

The smaller size are made from this pattern

The largest bags are made following this tutorial:

Here is the set that I finally made this week for the stash game:

The lucky guy (who picked the colors and fabrics himself) sewing on scraps

The backpack, its ok, but needs some tweaking

The nylon Cordura 1000 came from this ebay seller

Zipper tape and findings all came from Green Pepper except for the colored strapping which I got from Lens Mill Store in Waterloo.

They look so professional (and I'm not even talking about the embroidery)   They look awesome, and I bet they wont believe you when you say you made them!  Backpacks can be such a pain, but yours looks good!  I'm kinda tempted to make a set for my boy!

I really liked this pattern.  After the first batch, I modified them to make the zippers exposed instead of with the covering flap.  I found them simpler and the zippers open wider.  I subtracted 1 3/4nches off of the end with the fold line on it and sewed both sides of the zipper the same, and then continued on as per the pattern instructions.  I also didn`t do zipper pockets on any after the first, because I was production oriented and wanted to get more done Smiley

It is a beautifully simple pattern and I really like it.  I will do more for gifts in the coming years.
Let me sashay your tightroped mind

These are great! I can't believe you have made so many. I must say, I am jealous!! I've been wanting to make myself one as a gym bag. Good job!
