This salwar set was made during Navarathri (managed to sew one during the busy schedule of sewing 9 new dresses for my little darling - posted as navarathri dresses in kids section). Just managed to post it though

back shot

In india Dupatta (Shawl) is worn traditionally with salwar kameez. Thought of attaching the dupatta with the kameez itself instead of wearing it separately. Hence experimented with Cowl styles and chose one i felt ok with. Here is the result
Sorry for poor pics, these ones were taken from mob which was low on battery

Pleats at hem of kameez

I love the green color you chose!  What a lovely piece, congratulations Smiley

Very beautiful and unique salwar kameez!
I LOVE the green cross bodice, and the cowl & pleats on the gold is gorgeous and so unusual.

I really love what you did with the green kameez ! I have a few sets of fabric to sew some for myself and I wish I could make them as well as you.  Grin

I love the first one. Very pretty colors. I love the fabric too. Did you do the beading as well? Or is that a part of the fabric?

Wow...that first one is really pretty.

Those are really beautiful. I love the neckline on the green one, that pattern/trim is a nice touch.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Wooo! I love the crossover effect on the green kameez! You do lovely work- 10x better than any of the ones I see on Ebay! Great job on those- I also like the pleated edge on the second kameez, that's not something I've ever seen before, but it's really cute. You ought to start selling these- they're a lot better than most of the "boutique" salwar suits that've been out there, lately!  Smiley
