My daughter likes to pretend to nurse her babies like she sees me doing with her brother. I have a Boppy nursing pillow, which she likes to use, so I decided to make her a version that fits her. There's a template on my flickr page and a tutorial on my blog. This was super easy, used supplies I already had on hand, and stitched up quickly. And it's a hit with the little one!

(I made several before I got just the right shape, and she's enjoying them all!)

What a great idea!! And a nice way to make sure your daughter doesn't feel left out. My mom gave me a doll when my little brother was born and had me take care of it like she was doing him... feeding, bathing, dressing, diapers... it taught me how to help take care of my brother, plus made me feel special too. Good luck with your little ones. =)

This is absolutely perfect. I just had my second daughter 4 weeks ago and my 3yo is fighting over the boppy so she can nurse her babies. I wanted to make her one of her own for Xmas, but no sense reinventing the wheel. Thank you so much for the tutorial.

The only problem is, I can't seem to be able to "click" on your picture in order to save the template.  I can probably draw it on my own from your measurements and shape, but I thought if you got on here soon enough and could help out, that would be even better.

Thanks again!

M, sooo sorry I missed this. I haven't been around much lately and haven't checked old posts. I did after a while change my photos to make them unclickable. Did you draw one up yourself? If not, I can make the file available to you on my blog. Let me know!
