This is the prom dresss i started 4 days before prom.
It was living hell. First off, I had never worked with satin, so little did i know that it'd stretch while i sewed it. It was some deluxe satin from spotlight and i thought everything would go my way, so i redid the entire bodice again, this time with interfacing.
Everyone loved my dress and how simple it was (:
Comments are greatly appreciated!

(i'm the one in purple witih the champagne rope trimmings and straps)

Usually during prom, everyone wears black so i decided to go with purple. Little did i know that almost everyone turend up in purple!!!!!
Oh and i'm in an all girls school, so prom is basically just taking pictures haha

(my friend furthest to the left had hers tailored, I loved it!)

( I can't find any pictures of the back, but just note that it was a criss cross, made the front seem like a haltr)

THIS IS THE CLOSEST PICTURE I HAVE to a picutre of my back!

On a sad note): : i had some oil stain on my dress which i'm still unable to remove ):
The waitress accidentally splaterred some oil MEOW!
Luckily there's something called photoshop!
Oh oh! and i won lucky draw prize number 165 hahahha. It was a 2GB thumbdrive!
yay...

Hope you liked it!

Beautiful dress!

btw: oil & grease stains usually come out with drycleaning - a dress like that would be worth trying it out :-)

Great dress!
I'm impressed by your hem, how'd you do it?

You could try covering the oilspot in baby powder and leaving it overnight (or longer).  Then just shake the baby powder and the oilspot *should* be gone.
