Yay excited! My partner and I have been discussing lots so its been relatively easy to plan what I want to make, though it's mostly for her daughter rather than herself. I've already got the materials for all the things I want to do but won't have time to start until my infernal final exams are finished!!

But in case someone is having trouble coming up with ideas or wondering how to do what they want to do! Here is huge list of DIY tutorials from the egl livejournal community.

Happy crafting everyone, I can't wait to see pictures!

Oh those blasted finals! I have them too. As soon as I get home it's crafting ahoy!

I have a few ideas and thrift store treasures, now all I need is some time.

Part of me is glad to not have finals anymore. On the other hand, I miss school sometimes. I never finished college and totaly wish I could go back.

Well, gotta go find the ball of thread my cat just stole... Tongue

I miss school too. Never thought I would, but it gets a bit lonely without all the people around, hating you or not.

Cheesy I also know what you mean about the yarn thievery!  Wink  I went to bed this morning, and my cat was mewing in front of the door wanting to be let in, and she had a yarn with her. hehe  Smiley I love cats.

I miss the days of finals.... staying at home all day becomes monotonous.

Ahh, yarn thievery. Between the cats and an 18 month old baby, I can't win. My son just figured out how to open my sewing cabinet, so I have been chasing balls of yarn around the house. He leaves a trail, and the kittens fight over it.

I'm sorry ojy, but I laughed like crazy when I read your post.... I know the feeling... not the baby of course, but my one cat is enough. One time I went on vacation for a few days, and when I came back, my mom made me clean up all the yarn my cat dragged all over the house. It was everywhere. There was black, tan, white, green multi... everywhere... It looked like... I don't know... a birds' nest? A cocoon?? Something... But you couldn't take a step without stepping in it!! I swear, I wasted so much yarn. I cut through so much of it, because it was insanely tangled... >< Oh man..

But I can just imagine a baby crawling around pushing an unraveling yarn ball, and two or more tiny kittens following after, trying to paw it and fighting over it!!  Grin One of the two things that made my day!! ..>> 'scuse me, Night...

Yeah, I have discovered that babies and kittens are an endless source of entertainment for each other. Throw in a ball of any kind and you have a win. Who needs expensive toys?
