I can't speak for anyone else, but I personally go by time.  Most of us don't have any money and pretty much work from stash.  As far as size goes, I think the points explanation in the swap faq is pretty accurate.  But, for me personally, I go by time.

I know a lot of "small" things that require the sewing machine are larges for me based on time!  LOL  But, I can crochet up some fairly substantial items in an hour or 2.  *shrugs*

Just don't go overboard.  That's the main thing.  "Spirit of the swap" and all.  Basically, use your common sense to avoid gross violations.  That's all.

yeah, I usually go by time.................with this, I would take the three hours for three items ......so if one of the items took me and hour and a half, I would have an hour and a half left for the other two......so on and so on..... different crafts take different people different amounts of time....so its also a per person deal.....

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

ATTENTION:

Anyone who mentioned a cigarette allergy, please PM me and let me know if it is OK if your partner has a smoker in the household who does NOT smoke in the house.

Anyone who mentioned a cat allergy (heh, you know you won't be my partner! LOL), please PM me and tell me where you stand on your partner having dogs or ferrets in the house.

Thanks, y'all.

ATTENTION, AGAIN:

*closes eyes, takes a deep breath*

OK, so, baptism by fire on the organizing thing.  OK.  *unclenches*

I'm reading through the questionnaires, and we've got a really cool, diverse group so far.  Very diverse.  Now, craftsters in general tend to be a cool lot.  And, swappers are usually a friendly, fairly openminded crew.  So, I guess I'm just worrying too much with this organizing thing.  But, that said, I want everyone to have a great swap experience and be all happy and crap.  So....

If you are devoutly religious, please PM me and state whether you'd be OK with a partner who is, well, sooooo very not or is but is not your religion.

If you have atheistic, Pagan, or whatever nonChristian tendencies, please PM me and state whether you'd be OK with having a devoutly religious partner.

I don't want anyone to get their feelings hurt or sensibilities offended.

(ogd:  You just KNOW Sapphire's laffing her a** off over all this, eh?)

*tries to rub out the tightening knots in my neck*

Y'all, really, I just soooooo much want this swap to be a superawesome thing for everyone.  And, I'm just trying to be ultracareful at this organizing thing.
