I love Iggy the penguin! He is sooo cute! Did you use a pattern or make it up as you went along? A tutorial would be awesome! My other favorite is the red and black bracelet. Again any instructions or patterns would be great if youve got them! Beautiful work! Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you so much!! The penguin was quite a task. I consider myself a pretty advanced beader and I found a tutorial for the penguin here: http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/2008/project/july.html. It is a long tut and sometimes extremely complicated to understand. I altered some of the features and added some pieces to make him stand, but please feel free to try it! I loved it once I understood! Smiley

As for the Heart Bracelet, that is a pattern that I borrowed and altered from Bead and Button. I have to look back and see which issue, but I will get back to you on that one.

Thanks!! I love the butterflies too and I could see it as a choker def.! It wouldn't be hard to alter the pattern either to make the butterflies connect side to side rather than top to bottom... I must try that! Smiley

And yes, I am honored to have the stone. It is very special because not only did it BELONG to her, but she actually FOUND it AND Cabbed it herself. She was a true rock hound! Smiley

I love the monarch butterfly bracelet, but would not attempt it myself. Your bead and color choice, I think, is what really makes it work so well!
