Holiday Poppets now with boy patterns pieces and ab tutorial

After seeing Ghillie's  poppet Sparkle the Winter Mouse, I knew I just had to do a mouse couple, they reminded me of the cartoon holiday specials I watched as a kid - so here they are making their debut, My yet to be name mouse couple in their Thanksgiving attire

For the girl mouse I used the Eleanor pattern

For the boy I altered the original poppet pattern  by enlarging it slightly eliminating the curve at the waist, I also trimmed the bum,
to get the sculpted abs I created a separate "chest" plate that I stitched to the inside of the front piece and stuffed from the inside,
it came out fabulous with no hand stitching

I plan to add more holiday outfits as they are created and will post them here

I would have loved to have that chest pattern when I did my brothers clone trooper poppet (still in progress) He would have looks tons better.

Please would love the Boy poppet pattern and also would love a tut on the chest. My girl poppets are now drooling and demanding a hunk of thier own. Please share your goodness before I have a poppet revolt. (there are more of them than us)
