I've been needle felting for less than a month now.  Here is my first nativity set.  Future sets will have a more caramel colored skin tone...the pasty-white faces are not what I had envisioned.   Roll Eyes  Also, please forgive the poor-quality cell phone pictures.

I really, really appreciate constructive criticism.  I'm a newbie at this!

Wow! I really appreciate nativity sets that the kids can get down and hold without fear of breaking.... Yours is so accessible! (I think a little more skin tone would not be a bad idea, too)

Those turned out really well (and are way better than my begining attempts at needle felting).

Thanks.  I agree.  Little kids should be able to play with nativity sets.  My boys have an old resin set from an estate auction.  They haven't broken it yet, but if they do, that is O.K.  How can they learn about Christmast unless they interact with the the story?

Oh yes kids should play with nativity sets! Though, my daughter used to pretend our baby Jesus figure had super powers and kept flying around saving people lol!

This is beautiful!  I've often thought about doing a felt nativity set - but I haven't needle felted yet, only wet felted!  I really like what you've done here - and look forward to seeing what else you do with it!

Yeah! Great idea on the felted nativity set.
They look adorably cute with a Waldorf feel to them.
