I had a silver and a hotpink barbie clutch like that, so cool!
maybe with the vinyl, a magnetic attachment would be cool instead of a pin which would leave stabby holes in it

Oohh... good idea. Smiley I'll have to figure that out. Smiley

That's so fantastic!  I think the pearl would be a fantastic addition and think it's great you're considering doing it as an optional bit.  Your sister is going to come out of her year of hell looking sharp and walking proud with your super thoughtful creation.

Thank you. My sister pretty much raised me so it's nice to give her something she's excited about. I'm hoping that this next year will be a great year for her. She really deserves it.

Well, it sure seems like she pretty much raised you right.  Happy holidays to you both!

The gold Barbie clutch.  I remember this accessory too!  I used it when Barbie was feeling fancy.  Good job!

This is really cute, but I have to admit I was kind of disappointed that the big one didn't have the quilted diamond pattern of the tiny original.  I think this would have made it over-the-top awesome.  If I saw the one you made just out and about, I would think it was cute, but if I saw the one you made and it was quilted, I would have recognised it immediately as the Barbie clutch.  I do like the idea of the removeable pearl pin.  Maybe you could find a nice big pearl earring at a dollar store or thrift store you could recon!
