I found a great tutorial for making a baby sling, so I made one for my cat out of an old flannel sheet. She loves to snuggle close to body heat in the cold weather, so this is pretty good, as it leaves my hands free.

I even managed to carry her around with me while I made a cup of tea. Problem is I'm not a young mommy anymore and it didn't take long for my back and shoulders to ache. Tuna loves it though!

Kudos to Leah Payne for posting the snuggly video tutorial (http://slingyourbaby.blogspot.com/2007/10/how-to-make-pouch-sling.html) on which I based my feline version.

Oh, this is such a great idea! I have an old min pin who likes to be 'schleppt' around. This would be perfect!

Very cute!  I think I will have to make one too!

After checking out Regretsy I'm pretty sure I could sell my stuff on Etsy.
