Custom messenger bag for a friend. End size is roughly 9x13 with 6 pockets.

That's great!  I've been wanting to make a messenger bag but am weary about it being sturdy enough.

Looks great!  Was the brown fabric pre-quilted, or did you do that yourself?

Thanks! the brown fabric was pre-quilted but the flap is pieced with some owls patches on top  Grin

I used a lot lot lot of interfacing to help make it sturdy and it's padded quite well for laptop protection. Smiley

Aha!  I thought that looked too cool to be a pre-made panel! Smiley  Very, very cute.  I have a soft spot in my heart for owls so I want to pull it through the screen and run  Grin
