I mailed my friend 2 large books in a large envelope last week, she text me and told me the package arrived open but she was glad to have the BOOK.  I texted her back and told her I send 2 books.  I am waiting patiently for her response.  Undecided

One Christmas when I lived in Texas, my son's aunt mailed him a box full clothes well before Christmas, it arrived a week after new year's day beat up, ran over, busted.  That box looked like someone used to practice baseball.  Got to love the holidays.

I forgot to add:  I hid my packages so I would not torture myself looking at them everyday.

I hope my package arrives ok.  Sad  At least there is nothing fragile in there though I realized I forgot to make a couple of claims on the custom form.  Hopefully they won't look in the box.  I will start worrying some time after Tuesday next week.  I know packages have been known to take up to 2 weeks to get to this country.  I have had things get to the UK faster.  Go figure.

On a completely unrelated note I bought a glitter ball at Michaels (like a rubber ball snow globe, I got the one with sparkly blue glitter).  I am completely addicted and if they were selling these before I mailed my package I might have gotten my partner one.  If I could afford to get everyone I know and love one I would but at $3 a pop it would end up costing me a fortune.  I at least got one for myself. Cheesy

I have one.  It is.... it is a mystical, charmed object.  I play with it ALL the time which annoys both child and cat greatly.  Mine is a palm size one with silver glitter in it.

I saw a bigger one with purple glitter in it at the store a few days ago.  I must have it.  I must.  I neeeeeeeeeeed it.

How did I live 36 1/2 years without having one of these?

Where the stores always get you, at the counter.  I had to wait forever behind someone and kept playing with the ball while I was waiting to ring up and figure I may as well buy it.  Addicting I tell ya!!!

OK, imagine a super hibounce ball... all firm and boingy.

Now, imagine one that's about the size of a baseball or softball, and it's clear.

Now, inside that clear ball of profoundly bouncy goodness is water with several grams of glitter.

And, when you bounce the ball, the glitter gets seriously hyper.

It is one of the bestest things ever in the whole world of toys.

I got mine at a small toy shop in the city this summer.  The purplely one I am lusting after was at Target in the city last week.

It will be mine.  Oh yes, it will be mine.

my package finally came!

i got a coffee press!  haha.

me, shaking my box trying to figure out what's in it.   Cheesy  (don't worry, i shook gently).

it's already hidden away so i'm not tempted.  i even wrote a note incase i forget.  hopefully i won't forget where the note is.   Roll Eyes
it was very strange not ripping into a package the minute i got it like i usually do.
