When you are born in a year of so much great music you just stay young forever.  Cheesy

I've noticed a trend, that if you mark it as frigile it ends up showing up all banged up, and once have seen one that was actually torn and contents were missing.... I think some postal staff think its funny to break packages.....

My package had fragile stamped all over it and it came in perfect condition.  Maybe I'm the exception. Smiley

Dang!!  That package really got banged up.  I hope everything is ok there.

Belladune:  I guess out of sight, out of  mind is a good deal.  I haven't thought about it all day.  I'm tempted to go try and find it now.

BTW:  Anybody born after 1965 is still young in my book.  And I remember those Samsonite commercials, too.

Man... that's why you have to be careful about sending packages out towards Christmas time... all the postal services hire on so many temps to help sort the packages through, and those people really do not care about the integrity of the postal system. They're just there to get the money, so they don't care about the package, or the people who sent it or are receiving it Sad Plus, I bet just the sheer volume of packages getting through each postal office now is just ridiculous and that has something to do with more "banged" up packages, too Sad I really really hope your Secret Santa did a good job packing any fragile stuff in the box so that they didn't break! I'd hate to see hard work get broken like that Sad

I am now really looking forward to opening my package.  It finally happened that I am overdrawn.  Can you believe they charged me $28 for being 19 cents overdrawn on my checking account?  Way to ring in the holidays... I am now officially peniless and if my disability claim is not cleared up in the next two days, I am, um, screwed. Both Workmans Comp and Disability rejected me, but I cant work. In physical therapy for a hand that won't hold onto things.  On the bright side, my sewing machine has not been acting up...

Well no package for me yet.  I have been patiently awaiting the mailman everyday!  I guess the longer it takes the better, since I won't be tempted to open it if it's not here.

puppy_girl! I love whatever you have made. It looks like a coinpurse or something. Something with a fold in the fabric. I like the fabric! And it looks like mosiac'd bamboo tile.
