ok here it is. Package number 2......

all the way from Lovely Canada and the hands of our ever talented Homer2......
....drumroll if you please
...............
.............
............
.....
...
..
.

firstly the whole loot......an absolutely fabulous recipe book which I can wait till the wetaher cools a little to turn on the oven.....

a crochet bell ornament in a white cotton with metallic flecks, next we have some lovely headbands.

and these are awesome, I just have to ask where to use the washcloth, in the bathroom? yes I know sounds stupid.....but I am a virgin, it's my first one.
The hotpad will come in hand this year too.

and although I said in my list that I dislike orange.......I almost cried when I saw this next bit.....

my own tabbycat bookmark..... you see as a kid I had thie huge FAT orange tabby, his name was ginger, one day he went a wandering and got caught in a storm water drain where some nasty wild rats( pet ones are cute.....ours is called jack) used his tail as a chew toy, so when those lovely firemen got him out he had to have his tail removed......when he was 10 and I was 12 some bast*** gave him a bait and we had to have him put down to avoid a nasty death......I was shattered and didn't get another can for 2 years( something of a feat as I have never been without at least 1, and now I have 4)
So you see this brought back very fond childhood memories.

Homer you made my christmas, I have been having a rather shitty last few weeks but now things are looking up.

Thank you so very much for my lovely gifts.

time to fess up I was KwiltyKates secret Santa.

The reindeer wall hanging to forever to stitch out 1 design alone took me 7 hours....damn thing but I was so happy at how it came together.

I also sent 2 window clings(suncatchers) a reindeer and a black n white cow.

The gaming coasters are some I got in another swap, they were not being used here and I saw that Kate liked gaming stuff so I thought her kids might like them, they were just an extra.

Those candy cane holder.......are machine embroidered and suppose to take 30 mins to stitch, well I must be applique challenged cause they took like 2 hours each.......bit I liked em so much I made a heap and sent them to everyone for christmas.

I am glad you liked your package Kate, you were fun to craft for.

another great package!  isn't that funny how sometimes you get things that mean so much more then they were likely ever intended?  The kitty bookmark is super cute!
