I crocheted these plastic bag holders from  - what else? -  plastic bags.  Each holder used about 53 bags. They are about 40 centimetres long, and hold heaps of empty bags.  I love crochet, such a great way to procrastinate!

*this rocks!*

I added this to my profile as a favorite project! Very cool! I have yet to try the crocheted pictures, but this really makes me want to.

Where are the black plastic bags from? The bright colors are unusual, as well. All I have is white, brown and pale yellow.  Grin

Very cool!  I would also like to know where you've gotten such great coloured plastic bags?

WOW this are so great!! LOve those colors!!!

I've hesitated trying to crochet with plastic bags.  It seems like it would be unpleasant to work with plastic.

But this project inspires me to want to give it a try!!

Thanks! The pattern is a free one from www.lionbrand.com, it's 80751, a skull candy bag. I just added a few extra rows at the top and bottom, and decreased to make a smaller opening. The coloured bags are large rubbish bin bags, the clear ones are from the supermarket.
