Thank you so much for the tutorial.... What seam allowance did you use?

Thanks for the tute! I'm gonna have a shot at it. My wallet is starting to fall apart. This one looks easy enough and self explanitory where I might actually be able to do it.

Thanks so much for the tute! I'll definitely have to make a few of these for Christmas.

I was wondering though, where is it that you keep the checkbooks? Just in the crease?

Thanks again for sharing this awesome tute!

There are pockets under the card slots and under the coin pocket. They are the exact size to slide a checkbook into them.

And the seam allowance...I just line the edge of foot up with the edge of the fabric....so the allowance is just under 1/2in.

Gorgeous wallet - thanks for the tutorial - I have two cut out to work on tomorrow (for Christmas gifts) as soon as I pick up some zippers Cheesy

Edited:  I finished the first wallet yesterday - it was quite easy to do, and turned out very nicely Smiley  The only thing I had a problem with was the topstitching at the end - my machine was having a hard time with all of those layers, even with a jeans needle.  I was thinking that it would be nice to give the wallet more body by adding a layer of thin quilt batting, but I don't think I'd be able to turn it right side out and topstitch it with that extra thickness!
