Hello / Hallo,
so, I am new here in Germany
also, Ich bin neu hier in Deutschland

I keep having trouble finding good sources for arts and craft supplies nearby.
Ich habe dauernt probleme Kunst und Bastel Matrialien zu finden in der naehe.

I sadly can't afford to order everything online and have it mailed to me, so...
Ich kann es mir leider nicht leisten alles per Internet zu bestellen und es mir schicken lassen, also...

I live in Bavaria near Nuremberg
Ich lebe in Bayern in der nahe vorn Nurnberg.

   Ideas? Suggestions?
   Ideen? Vorschlage?

Thanks for the help and sorry for the lousy Grammar / spelling!!!
Es tut mir sehr leidt das mein Deutsch so schrecklich ist!!!

Thank You!!!
Danke!!!

Hello there!

First of all, I don't think your German is that bad. Where are you from and what are
you doing here?

On to your question: Unfortunately, I don't live in Nürnberg, so I don't know any shops for crafting supplies there. But I checked the yellow pages and found many addresses
directly in Nürnberg. Have you checked them out yet?

Also, ordering can actually be cheaper in Germany, because crafting supply shops are often very expensive.
Check out this link http://www.vbs-hobbywelt.de/ for example.
The things are mostly cheaper there than in the shops and if you order more, it could pay off, even with the shipping costs.

Thank you - Danke ! I so appreciate any tips! I have been to the Boesner store in Nurnberg. Its amazing!!! Now I just need to find a "Michaels" type of store here for more crafty items. The Hobby-Welt site was a good tip too - and you are certainly right about the shippong costs!
Thanks for being so kind about my German. Ich bin eigendlich Staatsbuergerin - aber Ich habe fast meinen ganzen Leben in Amerika verbracht. I moved here very recently from Arizona, and am planning on trying to stay here - as long (as I can get a good job). Its just sometimes hard to find your legs when you move somewhere new. Finding art suppies will help! Thanks again!
