This was my 5th quilt, but my 1st attempt at Free Motion quilting. Machine pieced and machine quilted. Not perfect piecing, but I'll keep it. *LOL* My 4th quilt got out the door before I had time to take pics. Once my oldest daughter takes some pics and sends them to me, I'll post.

That's incredible!  Your quilting looks great and the red border you chose really makes it pop.

Great job!

That's a gorgeous quilt.  I love all the prints and how they all end up working so well together.  Can I ask what pattern that is?  It looks fantastic.

I really like this and love that you did on the border, this might even be doable by me on my regular machine..you did use a regular machine?

I love personal swaps, for supplies, surprises, flamingo themed things and general silliness.

Would love some hand knitted socks for my big foot boyfriend.

Ohhh I love this. I am almost done piecing my first quilt and I have been looking through posts to get some ideas on the free motion quilting. Maybe it's a bad idea on my first quilt, but I just love how they turn out. This is gorgeous, I think your piecing looks perfect. Smiley

Mrskristina: Thanks so much. I hadn't tried the free motion either and thought what the heck I'll give it a try. I think it turned out ok. I'm gonna try it again with the one I'm working on right now. I'll post it once I get it completed.
