Hi, this is my shawl. I made it in mohair so that it will be nice and warm as a winter scarf thing. It was quite a fine yarn and isn't actually that itchy!

here's the close up

Please excuse the mess in the background.  Wink
Anyway, this is the first time that I've followed a pattern (apart from squares) and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Tell me what you think.

I really like it. It's very femme and elegant.

Well done! I'm trying the same pattern, using a pink-and-purplish yarn. I do hope mine turns out as well as yours!

NICE!  I am tempted to try this pattern...though I must say I am bad and NEVER use the yarn the patterns call for. LOL  I hope mine rocks as much as yours!

Since my girls actually nap (knock on wood), I am going to start trying to work off my negative feedback.  Life got hectic with their early arrival.  I apologize for the inconveniences my flaking caused.

HI. I've mostly been a knitter with aspirations to crochet after seeing some of the projects in The Happy Hooker. I've loved this shawl so much that I've taken the plunge.  Saturday I started and although I've pulled it out 4 times so far, I remain optimistic!  I've only got the book to teach me!

I think that your shawl is just as beautiful as the one in the book.  Did you have to change your hook size to make the pattern work with mohair yarn?

Nice job! I love the color you chose Smiley This is such a fun pattern don't you think? I've made it twice, and would again!
