Hi, all. I don't do much with beads, but I wanted to try to create some decorative sewing (straight) pins as a Christmas gift for someone this year. I'm not thinking anything "dangly," just a bead or two threaded onto the head of the pin to spice it up. (I'd use extra long pins.) I've got the pins and I've got the beads, but I'm not sure the best way to secure the beads onto the pin (keep them from just sliding back down the pin) after I thread them on. Would I use glue? Or something more sophisticated? It seems like it would be simple, but I'm clueless. Your help is appreciated!

I use E-6000 for that sort of thing. It works best if the hole of the bead is not much larger than the pin, so if the beads have bigger holes you may need to use a smaller-holed bead inside or under the larger bead to hold it in place. Did that make any sense?
