How cute is your dog! My boss has a 3 legged dog, it gets around like it had all 4, quite amazing!

And just because I caught a great moment:
She was about to lick her mouth but it looks like she is sticking her tounge out at me Smiley

My boys run away as soon as the camera comes out, but here's a good one when Pikey was little:

I just love Opie and your  dane! When I was little, one of my favorite movie was "The Ugly Dachshund". Have you seen it? It a 1966 Disney movie about Dachsies and a Daschund. Ever since then I wanted both too! My great grandparents, grandmother and mom all had doxies. I have "Ollie", but I have wanted a Dane for ages (my grandma had one too).

here is a link for the original trailer of the film:  (be warned... its got some racial stereotypes!)

Thanks! Having danes and doxies is so much fun - they are both wonderful breeds.

We love the movie The Ugly Dachshund! It reminds me of our house - Opie is a naughty little trouble-maker and our danes are big goofy oaf babies that often get blamed for the trouble that Opie has started!

I love all of the new pictures in thread! Keep 'em coming.

I don't qualify for this swap, as I've been lurking for a couple months and only recently took the plunge by signing up (I wanted to post a picture of my first completed project from here). But I thought I'd post some pics of my little baby. His name is Jojo.

Trying to decide if the camera is destructible or not: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=40250188&l=7132a7e8f5&id=19220326

I agree - more doxie pics!
Here is the "Halloweenie" making faces for the camera. I think it looks like he is muttering spells under his breath (most likely, "why does Eli insist on putting hats, wigs and such on me?!?")

Checking out the thread of this swap always brightens my day! Teapotdnky - we would love to have you and your "Dingus" - he looks so much like Ollie! Rocky, Beatrice, and the "Chiweenie" are so cute! Jocko is just about the coolest looking dachshund I have ever seen. All the rest are darling as well of course!

ps. Hey Vern - Pikey is a doll! Is he named after the Pikeys in "Snatch"? - Also, love the retro lady avatar!

LOL! My dingus' name is Bailey. Her ears always stick straight out like that. She's got lots of tiny deformities that add up to a dog that I can't stay mad at. Cheesy
