I just love Opie and your  dane! When I was little, one of my favorite movie was "The Ugly Dachshund". Have you seen it? It a 1966 Disney movie about Dachsies and a Daschund. Ever since then I wanted both too! My great grandparents, grandmother and mom all had doxies. I have "Ollie", but I have wanted a Dane for ages (my grandma had one too).

We love the movie The Ugly Dachshund! It reminds me of our house - Opie is a naughty little trouble-maker and our danes are big goofy oaf babies that often get blamed for the trouble that Opie has started!

Here is the "Halloweenie" making faces for the camera. I think it looks like he is muttering spells under his breath (most likely, "why does Eli insist on putting hats, wigs and such on me?!?")



Checking out the thread of this swap always brightens my day! Teapotdnky - we would love to have you and your "Dingus" - he looks so much like Ollie! Rocky, Beatrice, and the "Chiweenie" are so cute! Jocko is just about the coolest looking dachshund I have ever seen. All the rest are darling as well of course!

ps. Hey Vern - Pikey is a doll! Is he named after the Pikeys in "Snatch"? - Also, love the retro lady avatar!

LOL! My dingus' name is Bailey. Her ears always stick straight out like that. She's got lots of tiny deformities that add up to a dog that I can't stay mad at.
